Painting of My Church

This Saturday, January 23, 2010, my husband and I are sponsoring a benefit auction for our youth pastor to go on a mission trip to Peru! I am hoping this will be a big success. I have done a painting of the church to donate and wanted to share it with you. It's a little country church called Mt. Hebron Baptist Church on Chestnut Ridge in Waynesburg, Kentucky. If anyone lives near us, all are invited to come. Everyone in the church has donated items and I heard there were some beautiful hand made quilts that were donated and who knows what else. Tragedy in my family

This is a sad time for my family. My daughter's 19 year old step son and his girlfriend, both 19, were killed tragically in a fire on Monday of this week. This has grieved my daughter and all the grandchildren greatly as he was their step-brother and they loved him. My grandson Tyler will be 18 next week and they were very close. Here are some pictures of them.

This is Danny and Tiffany, they just got engaged at Christmas. Both of them died in the fire.


This is my grandson, Tyler, and Danny.

I thought it would make me feel better to write about it. Not sure why. They will surely be missed. Please say a prayer for my family, especially the children.
