Back in the Swing of Things

Hello everyone! I have had some family issues to deal in the last few months that took a lot of my time. I recently lost my father so things have been a little difficult for me. I am hoping that now I can get back in the swing of things in the blog world and I hope to connect with you all more often. I want to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers that were sent my way. I am so grateful for your kindness in my time of grief.

I am really looking forward to the Shabby Lane Shops Retreat that is only a month away! This will be an exciting event and one that we will share with everyone! Stay tuned for this.

Painting of My Church

This Saturday, January 23, 2010, my husband and I are sponsoring a benefit auction for our youth pastor to go on a mission trip to Peru! I am hoping this will be a big success. I have done a painting of the church to donate and wanted to share it with you. It's a little country church called Mt. Hebron Baptist Church on Chestnut Ridge in Waynesburg, Kentucky. If anyone lives near us, all are invited to come. Everyone in the church has donated items and I heard there were some beautiful hand made quilts that were donated and who knows what else.
